Alexandria Anderson, RDN

Registered Dietary Nutritionist

Alie Anderson is Cedar Creek Wellness Group’s registered dietitian nutritionist. She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina where she graduated as a member of Kappa Omicron Nu, the National Honor Society for the Human Sciences. She completed her dietetic internship with Medical City Healthcare in Dallas, Texas. As a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Integrative & Functional Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group, and the Dallas Dietetic Alliance she strives to stay ahead of the latest evidence-based information in nutrition science.

She is passionate about integrative and functional nutrition, an approach to health and wellness which takes into account an individual’s whole being from the physical, to the mental and emotional self, in order to get at the root of her patients’ health and nutrition challenges. Whether that is weight loss, an unhealthy relationship with food, or simply feeling overwhelmed with the onslaught of mixed messages from the national media and various social media outlets, Alie is able to work with her patients to develop a personalized plan to help them reach and surpass their nutrition goals.

Alie is originally from Cape Cod and Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Human Communications and then went on to serve for five years in the United States Army as a linguist.

In her off time, she enjoys walking her two Great Danes, Louis and Lincoln, around the neighborhood, cooking and eating great food with her husband, and running and weight lifting to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her favorite place is anywhere with an ocean view and sand to put her toes in.
