What should I expect at my first visit?

At the time you schedule your visit, your email address is collected in order to send your intake paperwork to. These can be filled out online and signed electronically with no need to print. Each patient MUST fill out their intake BEFORE their appointment. If you do not have email or online access you may come fill out paper intake forms 20 minutes prior to the appointment time. When you arrive, simply have a seat in our lobby. Your provider will come introduce themselves to you and escort you to their office. During your first visit you and your provider will discuss the reason you are seeking treatment and will establish a plan of care. You may bring a loved one with you if you'd like, but we ask no more than one person.

What are your rates?

Rates vary per service. The private pay rate for individual therapy is $120 for a 60 minute session. The rate for psychiatric services is $150 for the initial evaluation and $75 follow ups. CCWG does offer a limited number of sliding scale services. Please contact us for further information on rates. We are dedicated to providing quality, affordable mental health services.

How long does each therapy session take?

Typical therapy sessions are 45-60 minutes and will be scheduled on a weekly basis depending on need. Psychiatric appointments vary according to need but typical initial evaluations are 60 minutes and follow up visits can range from 15-30 minutes.

Do you accept insurance?

We are in network with BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare, traditional Medicaid and Medicaid UHC Star Plus. We are only able accept Medicare for medication management visits.  If you are covered by another carrier,  will gladly provide you with a superbill that you can turn into your insurance company for possible reimbursement (this does not apply to Medicaid or Medicare). We are currently working on becoming In-Network (INN) providers with multiple carriers. In the meantime, please reach out for fees.

Do you accept Medicaid or Medicare?

Currently we accept Medicare for psychiatric medication management visits. We are enrolled with traditional Medicaid and Medicaid UHC StarPlus. We are waiting to be accepted to other Medicaid plans at this time.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, HSA, debit or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). We do not accept personal checks or Care Credit. Payment is expected at the time of the visit.

What age of patients are you accepting?

We typically accept patients ages 13 years old and up. Any potential patients younger than 13 yrs old are case by case basis. If we cannot provide care  we will provide you with resources for your child.

How do I know if I need medication?

If you are not on medication, or are considering psychiatric medication, we generally will have you or your loved one see our psychiatric nurse practitioner. She will make the recommendation based on the information you provide or may have you try alternatives prior to starting medication. If you are already on psychiatric medications, but feel there could be improvement, schedule with our psychiatric nurse practitioner to discuss options or alternatives.
